I am trying to locate (within my own library) an effect where you tear the corner from your business card. You then place the torn corner on top of your business card and cause it to appear to permanently melt on the surface of the card. It can then be handed out in this new condition.

This was on a DVD and it may have been a Jay Sankey release. I checked his "Miracles With Business Cards" DVD with no luck.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like an old effect called business merger, it required the plastic biz card case. I know I have it, I will look for it.

Thank you for the reply, but that is not it. I am familiar with Business Merger. It is a nice effect.

This routine requires you to make custom business cards to hand out that have a corner permanently melted into the surface of the card.

Could it be scar tissue from his 'Gimmicks Lab' project?
He performed it with a taxi receipt, but I guess it could be doable with a business card
