Just wondering.

Sometimes it looks blue during the day. At night not so much. And where I live in Washington, rarely. It's usually a shade of gray.

You have proven my point Destiny. It is blue here with white clouds in South Georgia.

It's very dark and sparkly here at the moment.

The sky is black, it only turns color when light hits it.

The daytime sky tends to be blue because the earth's atmosphere scatters the sunlight when the sunlight hits it. Sunlight is made up of all colours, but blue light travels in shorter waves and so gets spread further than the other colours.

It can be any color it likes as long as it doesn't fall =O

True. but then again, EVERYTHING that doesn't emit light on it's own is black until light hits it.
