Kyle, great review. Kind of surprised you didn't mention John's verbal essay on packet tricks on the DVD in which he points out that removing special cards from a little wallet can be a GOOD thing for a performance. He goes into several reasons why packet tricks are good and interesting to an audience.
I won't go into it all here but a big theme is variety.
