Has anyone used one of these for a small show? I bought it to record an introduction for me and play music throughout my act. I know that you get what you pay for but the music sounds very good and I think it is plenty loud for a livingroom show. I also want to get a head mic to try out.

For very inexpensive wireless microphones that can plug into a karaoke machine, take a look at http://www.hisonic.net.

Have you tried one of the wireless mics? The prices on that site seem very good.

All my mics are Hisonics and they sound very good. I use them with my computer to record hypnosis CD's and they do an admiral job. They work super in performance also.

I do have a hisonic, although it is the lowest model ($25). I use it for cub scout meetings and magic shows. It is in the FM range and does have some interference, but not when the transmitter is turned on. I will likely try one of their lower end dual VHF units this year because I want a dual handheld.
Enjoy!! Mike
