I'm not sure when that video was made, but perhaps it's very slightly dated. In particular, about a year ago, a heavy-hitting mathematical physicist (and a lesser-known colleague) claimed to have observable evidence of a theory he calls "conformal cyclic cosmology," which includes what the video calls "type 1" multiverses. What kind of evidence? The details in the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR), of course. In particular, the CMBR anisotropy apparently has concentric circles of temperature fluctuations, which are predicted by Penrose's conformal cyclic cosmology. It should be noted, however, that this evidence has not yet achieved widespread acceptance -- the physics community is still mulling it over.
(What's the CMBR? It's one of the two main pieces of evidence for the big bang; the fact that universe is expanding is the other main piece of evidence. Turns out, if you look anywhere in the universe, you see this "background radiation" that's pretty uniform everywhere, energy-wise, at around 4 degrees Kelvin. Roughly speaking, it's the "afterglow" of the big bang. But there are slight energy fluctuations, known as "anisotropies." The details of the energy fluctuations tell us a lot about the early universe... and according to Penrose, even tell us something about the "previous" universe.)
