Hello from Alaska! I am a public radio producer working on a program that features music used by past masters of magic. Some have special music recorded for them, and others used popular music of the day - but made it "their own."
If anyone has a list (short or long) of such music, please let me know! Thanks! Jeff Brown

Well, I know that charlie renyolds was compiling a list of all the music that both blackstone sr & jr used in their show. I know my dad might know of some of them, most of the music magicians used then were standards. I know that jack gweynne's grand daughter has all the sheet music to his show, and my father had a score specifically written for his.
off the top of my head, some music that would have been used includes: dance of the siamese children (jack gweynne) meditation from thais (dante) chinatown blackstone, sr used an orchestral pieces by anton rubenstien for the levitation. my father used authentic traditional chinese music along with authentic costuming and scenery. I hope this helps.
you will remember my name
