What the best thread video out there?
I would like a video that teaches a bunch of hook ups. I was thinking of getting: Michael Ammar - Easy to Master Thread Miracles - Set (Vols. 1-3) - DVD its around 80 dollars. (do you guys recommand this video?) But I just want a good thread video. thanks, big k |

Who's afraid of the invisible thread... by Jon LeClair... even comes with an ample supply of invisable thread and his special flesh putty.
Great teaching DVD... floating bill, haunted pack, Chirling card, Erectile bill, rising card... and more... I also have Ammar's, but if $$ is an issue, start off with Jon Leclair. http://www.mymagic.com/leclair.htm
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

I think Ammar vol 1-3 is best it give you a ton or routines plus goes over the other hook ups,itr and reels.a wealth of information like stripping thread elastic and regular thread.well worth the money I spent and I would highy recommend if you interested in thread work.and you can find them on e bay pretty cheap.

I agree with both posts.
All the videos mentioned are fanatstic. I have a sleight (excuse the pun) preference for Leclaire's video because he performs his effects in a real world situation. Ammar also performs some of the effects in front of an audience on his Thread videos, but unlike Leclaire, they are in a studio. You really cant go wrong with either choice. |

LeClair is a great entry. So is ONE volume of Ammar. Look before you leap. You may find that your appetite for IT is sated with a single source of information, or you may find it is whetted for more. Go slow. You might contact Ron Jaxon (jaxon, here at the Café) for some great direction on where to start. He is a great IT man and an even better all around nice fella. |

I started of with the LeClair tape and his book, both are great recource for IT beginners.
After learning from this you will find out if IT magic is a thing for you, if you're still hungry for more, l'd note the replys form earlier posts and make the investment of the 3Ammar IT tapes, but go for the DVD's though, they are ALOT more user-friendly, but guess that goes for all Video vs DVD though.. -e-
...As long as i`m not a world-champion at anything, the great reactions of doin` magic will do just fine.....
