That's hilarious.
A few years ago, one of the guys in the scene shop brought his Chihuahua mix to work. She was a nice dog, but rather high-strung as Chihuahuas get. Anyway, we had a very realistic prop dog, a ceramic or plaster something-or-other right about her size, left over from a show. So I placed it on the shop floor. You had to be there. She came over to sniff, didn't smell anything, took a step back. Tried again, still didn't smell anything, and started backing off. This happened like four times. You could see it in her face: "What is WRONG with this picture?????"
