It's easy to rip inner city areas to bits but, the east end is a decent bit of a big old place.
I worked at the Caledonian university on Fashion St, just off Brick lane, last summer. A fascinating place! Though our family's from Nottingham, my brother lives in Croydon, so I dig down with him when I work down there. To drive from Brick lane, past Spitalfields on your right, and on over Tower bridge back to my brothers place is great on a sunny day. I'll be down working at White city, at the Westfield, in a couple of weeks. though it's a fair way away from you Tom, I might just buzz you and see if you're up for a pint. Cheers, Ray.

That would be great Ray! Your description of that drive is spot on, I can picture it vividly.

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

What a beautiful place! I love communities with soul and this one appears to have it. I was in London in 2010 but am sorry now I didn't get a chance to visit that area.

Well... That little film shows it 'at its best', shall we say? But yes, it's a lot of fun, and getting slightly less dangerous as the years go by!
