I am on 8.1 iPhone 6 and it's fine. I did have problems when I first got the iPhone 6 so I deleted the app and reloaded it and all was fine. I would try that and if is scanning click disconnect and then start from scratch. I am pretty sure this will work

Thanks for your help Jaizon & Rowland:) I somehow got it working again on my 4s running 8.1.1. I reinstalled the app, removed the battery for an hour, and managed to get it paired after many attempts of opening a closing the app, turning bluetooth on and off, and connecting/disconnecting from the rvphotocube app. Something triggered a new pairing request, and it's back to it's normal reliable operation.

One might also like to checkout the latest version of Steve Skindell's RVPhotoCube. The App also supports the Pebble watch.

After watching the video on the iCube site, I feel that the App developed for iCube is quite advanced.

Sorry for going Off-Topic.

P.S. I have the latest version of RVPhotoCube. It works flawlessly.

I have placed the sensor in the good old Number Vision cube thus giving the prop a very innocent look as the prop is well known to all magicians. First perform the usual Number Vision method and then go into the mindreading thing - It simply kills the magician who are in the know of the Number Vision method.

I think there is *far* to much information in this thread on an open forum.

Thanks Ustaad, I'll be trying the Number Vision transplant out. Sounds like a great combo.

Is the ICube no longer supported? I don't see any reference to it on Hugo's site. Bought mine from Tannen's about a year ago. Having trouble connecting to iPhone with latest IOS. Not sure where to get support. Disappointing.

Try this delete the app from your device and then go to the App Store and download it again. I had the same problem but this work for me and a couple of other people. I don't think this is available now. I did hear that they may do another run and there may be an app to connect it to a pebble watch which would be awsome but don't hold your breath. It's a shame it's not available as I know at least a few people who would like to buy it and if it ever got pebble support I think it would sell loads. I have never had an issue with mine in performance, a great piece of kit.

Thanks! I somehow finally got it to work, but the connection drops sometimes. Not as reliable as it used to be. Disappointed.

I would still delete it and reload it. Sometimes apps need this when a new iOS comes out.

Hi. I am very interested in buying a Hugo Shelley iCube Pro. All the websites that seem to stock them appear to be in the UK. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to get one in the USA? Thank you.

Try restarting your phone this might help. What ever you do don’t delete the app. It is no longer on the App Store so I am wondering if the product has been discontinued. I have tried contacting Hugo but he hasn’t replied. I’m pretty disappointed at the moment as I think icube is a great piece of kit and I have had a lot of fun using it.

This is not good news. Hope the App is put back on the store soon. In case an App is removed temporarily for whatsoever reason, it should be mentioned in the dealers Ad page.

A good lesson learnt. AVOID products which are based on propriety App. Without the App these expensive products (especially in our field of magic/mentalism) are rendered useless. Hope the creators of such product understand and realize this problem and do not stop supporting their product by removing the crucial App. Hope better sense prevails. Removing of the App is becoming an increasing tendency. This happens more with low volume sale products (like magic props) rather than commercially available items.

Mr. Shelley, are YOU listening?

P.S. I have decided NOT to purchase a magic product that requires an App.

I really can’t understand what is going on here because in the past I have had great customer service from Hugo.

Yes, probably in the past.

Pulling out the App (for a product costing $300) without assigning any reasons (as of I know) is certainly not good. Now if somebody wants to sell his iCube, he can't do so. What would you say when such action is taken by the creator?
