I've seen the effect done several times on video but never in person. I have an idea of how it's done but would like to see it in print instruction somewhere.
If you don't know what I'm talking about when I say bottomless hat, I'm talking about the effect when the magician takes his hat off and puts his arm in it and it goes all the way up to his shoulder. The magician Jimmy Talksalot does a really good job of it. |

If you are talking about the effect in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93S8QhJD-qo it's pretty apparent how it works. Watch it several time and you should get it. However, I don't think it would work well as a stand alone effect and would have to be routined, as he has done, within a longer routine. As to the other stuff, you'll have to look around.
