There is also a new and different trick named StarStruck by Jay Sankey...

I think its a great presentation, I think I will check this one out, only problem is here in Spain, flash paper dries out quick no matter how you store it.

Long, drawn out and bit boring. just use an invisible deck instead.

Flash paper isn't neccesary , you can use ordinary paper agreed, but its not as impressive without the flash, and ordinary paper takes longer to burn

Very cool!
Jay always steps it up. Nothing new in methods but what isn't. I love the looks of this. Great for 1 or 2 people due to the in depth process. I would use in a close up setting as opposed to walk around. I agree that flash paper is a must for this one. Regular paper smells...takes to long. Price will drive me on this one. |

How do you "try to feel drawn to something....?" you are either drawn to it or you're not. It's called intuition.

I think his omnilope would be a better (more convincing) way for them to pick a symbol freely than the tin.

Agree to the previous post that an Invisible deck should just be used . Just my opinion only , I looked at the effect and realized that there are too much talking , and the revelation , although strong , is derived after taking for a long time . I prefer hard hitting
Which that are fast and effective . However in a whole , this still looks great . Just my opinion only . Thank you .

@Magician560: Hey, no worries. that's what the Café is all about. Guys throwing around ideas, suggestions, and a TON of opinions. It is a lot of talking and drawn out.
@Paul: I have omnilope. I haven't truly dived into it yet. Now I am going to watch it tonight, or tomorrow, or the next night... But I am curious now. I kind of like the tin in a away. Easy to carry. Can the "Omnilope" be folded up? From what I watched a while ago on the DVD, it would be hard to carry in a pocket.. I think? I have mixed feelings on this one. I just don't like it for walk-around at all... like others say, too long. But for a sit-down thing at dinner. That could work great. With 1-2 people though. I think the more people, too many distractions/talking and commenting would draw away from it, and they would lose focus. Definitely can't haave kids around while doing this one! On a side note: I have learned that the worst situation is trying to show a mom an efffect when her 1-25 kids keep bugging her! I then just do somehing for the kids of course. But it was frustrating to learn that lesson! Back to Star Struck: I am putting this on my wish list for now. I love Jay Sankey's teaching. I know how he does this, but I will always learn from him. Assuming it isn't above $40. |

My thought would be to have the burnt image of a star on the card as opposed to the cut out.

And for $55...
No thanks. Way too much 4 this! I'm kind of upset that it's so steep! |

Think as well that, for walk around the weakness is that the Star is going to be forced every time (unless you carry round another gimmicked deck for another symbol and another forcing tin).Somewhat negates that aspect and raises the question why you wouldn't just do an ID.

I think the price needed to make one yourself is also not that high ... Although the quality might be different , this is way too expansive ...
