Just saw this released on Penguin. Any thoughts from people who purchased it?

I don't have it but looking at the demo I am pretty sure I know how it's done. If he does use that method then it's very easy and will fool your audience. Just have to use an opaque balloon.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

This isn't new.
It's just an "excerpt" It's just one of the several effects on his video "Mark Jenest's Miracles While-U-Wait " there's a few old posts on the Café from 2008 that talk about this effect. They may be of interest. s |

Miracles While-U-Wait has a number of great effects – this one included! Get the DVD and you won’t be sorry. It’s loaded with practical and very commercial effects.
I have performed “billoon”, and I sometimes do with a signed card as well. It's a great trick and not really all that difficult. It always got great reactions for me. The only reason I don't perform it regularly because popping balloons can be very annoying for some people, including myself! That said, as a standalone download, if the effect appeals to you, you might want to go for it! I’m curious if the download has any new handling ideas.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

This is basically the same thing as the Miracles While-U-Wait, which has several very good things on it, and would be a better buy.

I have miricles while you wait and have loved this effect for years. I met Matt Johnson at Magic Live and he showed me three tricks in about 5
min and was very entertaining. I bought (paid actual real world money) his handling of billoon and really enjoy the additions he made to the routine and think that they change the overall dynamic of the effect in a positive way. Best Anton |

"Miracles while you wait" by Mark Jernest is a great DVD for sure with plenty of cool effects.
The folks at Penguin asked if I would share my work on Billoon as I love it and enjoy working with the effect. Different variations and uses for the method have been explored by other performers but Mark's work was my first introduction to the cool method. While this is Mark's effect my work on it has some important differences both in handling and psychology that I believe you will enjoy Cheers, MJ |

Miracles While you wait(MWYW) is AMAZING When I bought it over 7 years ago and still a good DVD today. I still haven't come up with my version of Jiggernuat. However, Chaptrick and Billoon, is a Sleeper and AMAZING Effect. Matthew, has given his handling of it, and if its anything like his previous work IE YMCATOD then I can only imagine him giving it, its just due to this effect. If you do not know MWYW, and only are interested in this effect than by all means get Mathews as I am sure its been made a little more modern and would fit the bill nicely.

I guess the most amazing part is when the magician shakes the ballon and it appears to the audience that it's inside ? The signed Bill also makes it amazing . I always like impromptu penetration effects . Cause it is cool . The method is really clever though .

I havent seen matthews version. But if you use Mark Jenest version and have a wallet with a suc function, it makes it look even more impossible when you put the bill inside.

Does anyone have a better way to make the dollar disappear? I am having a hard time with Matt's verson. I have tried to use a sponge ball vanish that is taught on Daryl's new sponge ball video...it gets me in the finger palm position. Just wondering if someone else has something better. I am looking for a retention type vanish.

However, I have been thinking about a way to do this more hands off. For example, if the participant holds and pops the balloon and you pick up a folded card and s****h it. KJ |
