Magic SMS was the first app I owned that truly fried people.
It was sad to see the app fade away and become unusable as iOS developed. I didn't think that Angelo would produce a new version, but I'm SO glad he did. This is an outstanding tool and it appears so innocent. I have a friend who is a maths teacher. He always 'sort of knows' how something is done even if he can't quite put his finger on it. I showed him Magic SMS (the original) YEARS ago. It's the one trick that he mentions every time I see him. The impossibility of it has stuck with him for a long time. So glad to have this effect in my toolbox again. Thanks Angelo!! Damian

I believe it depends if you set 12 hour or 24 hour clock in system settings.

I guess I have to set my phone to 24 hour to make it match. Is there a way to change it too 12 hour on the App?

Hi Alex! Sorry I somehow missed it. Alas the answer is no. There are so many versions of Android right now - each with the handset manufacturer's customisations of the keypad, lock screen, message UI, it would be impossible to cater for all of them. Really sorry.

I can't believe people still use AM and PM. Get with the program and use the 24 hour clock system. Jeez.
Very good idea using the card backs with different colours. Will have to pck this one up right now. |

Hey sleightofhander. The app matches like for like with whatever time format you have enabled in Settings/General/Date & Time.
If you have 24 hour time enabled, 6.45pm will show as 18.45 in both the real lock screen and fake lock screen. If you have 24 hour time disabled, 6.45pm will show as 06.45 in both the real lock screen and fake lock screen. Am afraid if you don't like the leading 0, you will have to have a word with Apple
