They finally figured out the Rock Paper Scissors strategy.
http://arstechnica.com/science/2014/05/w......pponent/ Essentially if someone wins, they're likely to throw the same thing that made them win. And if they lose 2 or more times, they're more likely to switch to the thing that will beat the one that just beat them. So to win over a number of games: if you lose - switch to the thing that beats what your opponent played if you win - switch to the thing your losing opponent just played |

I think we can all rest assured that Magicians...and some oddball scientists...are the only people that might get any milage out of that article!

Apparently, the strategy only works for girls.

In Sal Piacente's program Game On America he has a video segment on beating rock paper scissors. This program is on the Travel Channel and it's purpose is how to win at any game or contest. There are many segments that would be of interest to magicians, short cons, bar bets, how to win at a variety of carnival games as well as regular games like monopoly, shuffle board, horseshoes, Jenga, and the list goes on. If you have on demand you should be able to pull up most episodes.

And heres me going and buying a book on RPS and then getting home to read this, that's got karma written all over it. Amusing article all the same.
