You know the type - a spinning black and white spiral in a drill of some sort.
Just wanted to check and see of you had one you recommended? I've never owned one before and am keen to get suggestions. Are all wheels equal, or is there a rolls Royce for the professional? |

This one works without the drill, all you do is spin it on a table. Good for close up work. I own this same version and its made from steel and works well. Also the small size makes it easy to pack and carry. Always seemed a bit odd to me why a performer doing type of work would be carrying around a drill...... Kinda of like a Fogel Billet Hammer nice idea but not all that useful for most situations. Nevertheless I own one of those too. Something about the idea I like though I never use it again. But it does look intresting in the collection. |

I got a cheap one last weekend at a toy shop, you spin it and then look at a picture of clouds and they move outwards ,may have to try looking at my nose, lol, see what happens.
Well the head illusion of getting bigger does not work on me,could be because the wheel is smaller. |

Weber put out a neat version using a cloth disk that can be folded and spring open. Great for carrying around. I once had a printer friend make me several 3' in diameter on coraplast. Never tried it to see if they work this big, don't have a practical way to turn it. Makes a neat decoration in the magic room!
