Did you noticed that sir Murray is played by Thimothy Dalton, a former James Bond. In 'the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen', his equivalent - Allan Quatermain is played by Sean Connery, the first James Bond...
... and I definitively don't like the Tarot Cards, they don't fit a style of oracle cards in 1891. |

Wow will have to get this when released on DVD ,i all ready have AMERICAN HORROR STORY ,and waiting for the 3rd edition at Christmas to be released.I really like the look of this and will watch the first episode tonight,thanks for sharing,all the best Shane

I watched the pilot last week, and am filing it under "cautiously optimistic." Nice production values, a good cast (despite Harnett's presence), and it tempers its cable-drama seriousness with just a dash of Hammer Studio-esque self-aware camp (I look forward to Dalton doing the best kind of scenery chewing). It comes off a little as if you put NBC's recent Dracula, BBC's Ripper Street, and Moore's League of Extrodinary Gentlemen into a blender and hit frappe.

I took the plunge and bought the tarot cards.
I was more underwhelmed than I expected. As you can deduce from this pic, they didn't get overly creative when it comes to the minor arcana.  |
