The May 15, 2014, SAM Assembly 4 Meeting will feature SAM National Historian and Past Magic Collectors' Association President Thomas Ewing who will lecture on "The History of Magic" during which some of Magic's greatest effects will be discussed and performed by Tom, SAM Past National President Dick Gustafson and the Incomparable George Hample.

Don't miss this premier event! Tom Ewing is without a doubt one of the foremost magic historians living today and his presentations never fail to entertain, invigorate and inspire those who truly care about the art of Magic.

The lecture will begin promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Bustleton Memorial Post 810 (American Legion) located at 9151 Old Newtown Road, Philadelphia, P.A. (Less than a minute away from the intersection of Welsh Road and Roosevelt Boulevard).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Prior to the lecture, there will be two workshops:

George Hample (the creator of "Beswitched") will present a workshop on the subject of Paper Money Effects.

Joe McHugh and Charles Murter will present a workshop on Rope Magic.

As always, there will be multiple dealers on hand (i.e. Bob Little, A-Z Magic, Dennis Eleuteri, a.k.a. "Coco" and others) selling not only great effects, but also the staples you need whether you perform professionally or do magic as a hobby: rope, sponge balls, thumb tips, etc.

No other club in the country has as many dealers on hand at meetings to meet the needs of its members. Please take advantage of the opportunities afforded by these dealers.
Don't miss what promises to be a great evening of Magic.

Admission is free to members. There is a nominal charge for non-members.

We look forward to seeing you there!
