I have been doing Pinnacle for a while now, but I have never really used any patter with it. I kind of just present it straight-forward, as Russ does in the DVD. I started working on patter using a marriage metaphor, because I often borrow a wedding band and the ring and rubber band start separate, then join together, one band at a time. But since the effect ends with a gradual separation of the two items, the marriage metaphor was a bit depressing!
Does anyone use a story with this effect, or do most people just present it straight-forward? Does it even need patter? Any thoughts?
