I've ordered from Elmwood for years so it's a little sad, but at least it's merging with such a class act.

Paul I have spent many hours at your stand over the years and purchased many of
your offerings I hope you will continue to have a stand at conventions around the world as your friendly and helpfull advice and great dems would be badly and sadly missed. Penguin are in my opinion the best and you teaming with them is a great move they unfortunately are not represented with a dealers stand at conventions not at any I have attended anyway So maybe you will represent both in the future? Well done Paul and sincere regards |

I just jumped on Elmwood's site and noticed things where diferent. I'm shocked that Elmwood is going away. I have many great memories of making the trip to Elmwood Ave. and visiting the shop. I used to wait eagerly for my copy of disapearing monthly to arrive and would always save my pennies in order to expand my collection. Thanks for the many great years of service, elmwood magic will be missed.

Just a quick update for those who may be interested, I placed an order on Elmwood's site yesterday(before I found out that they had sold to penguin). I just recieved a call from penguin to inform me that one of the items was not in stock. I have to say that I am quite impressed with their service. The fellow was very concerned about my order and making sure I was satisfied as a customer. It seems to me that Elmwood magic has been left in good hands, Kudos to the folks at penguin.

About 20 years ago I wandered into Paul's shop in Buffalo and was amazed by a simple thumb tip effect. I made my first (of many) magic purchase from him and have enjoyed the art since then. Thanks Paul.

Paul is fantastic and I spent some time with him at the Magi-Fest this past weekend. He's still top three in the biz as a demonstrator. He has some killer new releases. I think I ended up buying 6 effects from him. The Trabucco Holdout is still the most under appreciated utility in all of magic IMO and you can only get it from Paul. His work with Vic Trabucco's Wide Card is a thing of beauty including a very pretty rising card under card box. Finally I was thrilled to see him release a new version of an old effect (Nomenclature). I think the new version is called Monicker (sp) and is the best name deck routine I've seen. Unfortunately, according to Paul, you can only buy by catching him at a live event. So if he's in your neighborhood, be sure to check out his booth.
