Yes...very enjoyable read, and lots of stuff to actually use "out there"...however far "out there" you may personally travel...clearly explained and the remote viewing and design dupe were of particular interest to me...
...i also found it quite touching that ian seemed to dedicate nearly every page to me, by writing my name on pretty much every page...very kind of him...
I've asked to be banned

I am currently slightly obsessed by impromptu drawing dups (a mentalist's illness), how does "Frankenstein & Radium" compare with the classics such as "bold business" ?

If Bold business is you and some friends performing karaoke while drunk, FandR is a vintage pressing of the Beatles' White album. If Bold business is a smiley face scribbled with a Sharpie on a bus ticket, FandR is Rembrandt's The Night Watch. If Bold business is a Vine of you and your mates jumping up and down on a bed, FandR is clean print of Citizen Kane. I think you get the picture. Frankenstein and Radium takes 'Bold business', Banachek's universal drawing dupe, Marks and Kamman's research on psychologically probable choices and some of my own ideas and combines them all into a routine that will enable you to do a highly successful drawing dupe, impromptu and under test conditions, just about anywhere. One time in two hundred you might fluke a total miss, but 199 times you'll emerge triumphantly. Doug Segal used FandR it on a live radio station interview, when he was 'challenged' unexpectedly to do a draw dupe or similar. It worked. He wrote to thank me afterwards. Lior Manor endorses it, because he's seen me use it on tough, skeptical laymen and blow them away with it. At a party hosted by Andrew Goldenhersh, I used FandR on one of his lay friends and he (the friend) was literally jumping around the room with astonishment at the outcome. (This post is written in a slightly odd way because apparently the Café won't let me type an 'ampersand' character)

A quick summary of the gold I found after a first read of the material :
-Finaly a way to use the m****x force that makes sense. -A script to demonstrate impromptu propless astral-projection/telepathy. -An impromptu drawing dup to gather the hits when your habitual way just failed. -some good thoughts on psychometry. -A clever way to get someone's birthday cleverly used... |

Not only is Ian a terrific mentalist, he's a terrific and generous person as well...always open with ideas and suggestions. FYI, my favorite Rowland output has to be the Caltech lecture he gave. "Intellectual mentalism" at its best. Apurva

I would like to go on record to say that Ian Rowland rocks!!!. Best book on cold reading now on it's 5th printing I believe, one of the highest rated penguin lectures. Tonight he has just amazed me with his kindness and shown what a genuine generous person he is WOW!
If you don't have the 2014 lecture notes I can highly recomend them, as others have done before me. The Astral Projections script is brilliant, pure cold reading at it's very best and will make a lasting impression on any audience, and that just one routine! Your money will be well spent, and you will be rewarded many times over. http://www.ianrowland.com/lecturenotes/ |

Does anyone know if Ian Rowland is traveling or something? I ordered these notes six days ago and have not heard back. I know from previous experience that this is not how he normally is.
My email may be having issues but I wanted to make sure it really is at my end. I really am looking forward to these notes. I just hope Mr Rowland is doing okay and that it just turns out to be my mail. Thanks. Patrick |

Hi Patrick. I'm fine. I was away (at the Blackpool Convention) but I'm home now, and as far as I'm aware I have fulfilled all the orders for my Lecture Notes. Please email me (ian@ianrowland.com) and we can sort this out today.

Thanks for the kind words, Atlas, and I'm very pleased that I finally got to meet you properly at Blackpool! It wasn't for long enough (Blackpool chats rarely are) but I hope we'll meet again at MINDS or some similar event.
