Hello Danny............
Congrats on your soon to be VIP Café status, and welcome to the club!!! I am curious how your recent tour went in the UK., and were there any surprises? I know we talked about this at Kidabra, as you had some concerns that the British style of entertaining children was rather different to the American way, and I would be most interested to hear your feedback. Give my best wishes to Jan Rose. Cheers! JR |

Hello Jolly Roger!
Thanks for your question. Jan Rose and I lectured in 10 cities in England and Scotland, saw some beautiful sites and met some great magicians. Magicians in the UK were very receptive to our lecture and, as it turns out, had very similar questions and challenges regarding presenting magic to children. I even performed at Steve Gore's daughter's birthday party at which there were 25 6-year olds in an echoey church hall. My audience management techniques worked perfectly and Steve has the video to prove it! Bottom line, British children aren't that different than their counterparts in North America! |

I do have the video. Danny is right, he had the little bits of sticky tape on the floor and unprompted the assistants kept self correcting themselves to stand in the correct position.
Great to see a professional work! |
