I just saw this up at MJM Magic......does anyone know what this has to offer above other deck sh**ls out there? I assume that's what this is.
The demo is short (33 seconds) and it looks great.....but for $50.00, I'm curious how it's different than others on the market. Vodka (Red) by Kuniharu Kubo

I think it looks great, anyone that has a review, please post it. I am still looking for a great deck switch. The "Cooler" looked amazing but from the past reviews it seemed the gimmick was a little bit of a struggle and you had to really line it up correctly.

Think this will not be angleproof like the cooler...but the size is more "normal". I
am interested if it is made in plastic or metal...would not like if it was standard card box matrial. The method seems clear...I like this idea very much |

Vodka Deck Switch must be perfect for everyone who use a memorized deck stack or system/cyclical stack. Spectators shuffles and you switch in the stacked deck, invisible. That is a very useful tool...
If the box last a lifetime, then its very affordable! And, is it easy to use or do you have to practise a long time? |

It looks fairly obvious to me what's happening, but it may well fly by laymen - magicians are not always the best judges of that.
Since this is sold as "Vodka (blue)", I assume it emulates a specific card case - does anyone know if this can be made to look like the card case of any other brand of cards? |

2012multimagic- that's what I was thinking but the switch happens so fast that it seems like it might be more than just a s***l. I made up and also have the metal deck s***l too and I would like to hear some reviews whoever takes the plunge. I am just thinking $50.00 for just a s***l? I think it is, but with a little more to it.

I'm also waiting to see what kind of material is this made out of (paper, plastic, metal, etc). If anyone finds that out, please be sure to post it here.

We just had this arrive in stock today http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/v......ubo.html
It's not made of card as far as I can tell, it looks like a real box, durable and should last a long time. The downside with this is that the instructions are total rubbish a couple of pieces of paper with large text and a couple of poor pictures. I had to watch the demo to even come close to figure out how to use this. Now I have figured it out this is good and I'll have to upload a video to help my customers out, its crazy to think in todays age that I am having to do this the creator should have included a DVD. The poor instructions only try to cover the switch they don't even mention the spread and switch as shown in the demo or the colour change of the deck. Concept and gimmick quality 7/8 out of 10, instructions 0 out of 10. Is this better than The Cooler yes, it's easier to use and it looks like a proper box. Buy it from Saturn Magic and get instant access to the video which will be live in the next day or so.

Well done, Mark! If I hadn't recently got Giobbi's Deck Switch book I'd be tempted...

I'm liking this, it's not taken me long to get this nice and smooth.
I don't have a use for it at the moment but if ever I want to switch decks this is a nice way to do it!

I was considering the cooler since someone was selling it for half off here. My research brought me to this thread and the Vodka switch. I looks like the Vodka switch is superior in that it looks exactly as it should when the dirty deed is done.
My only question for any who own it or sell it (Mark ;-) is can the Vodka case be set down on the table after the switch is made and does it look just like it does at the beginning?

Great question, Kaliix. What would be the point of picking up the Vodka Switch and doing the move, just to set the deck back down again on the table. Just a thought. Yours is still a geat question. I await someones answer.
