Which one is Pop?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

The bloke 4th from the left is doing the one legged angle separation.
Apparently he followed Harry Lorayne round all the beaches in Normandy and copied Loraynes "The great leg divide". This is at best, speculation. Though the empty vessel continues to make the most noise.

Definitely the cast for the Blackpool gala show, which was of course better than ever this year !

That is the 1863 Brighton Swimming Club.
Which, of course, does make that gathering a terrible magic convention. They have the hats, but no rabbits!
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

Bill, Michael, I'm really surprised at the ID. Given the year, I would think it very unusual for men to be posing topless in such skimpy bathing trunks in the mid-19th century. That's what had me really scratching my head when I saw the picture. Is that a US/England thing? Or is my conception of 19th century swimming attire incorrect?

I knew what the photo was, but posted it for the funny caption I could add. I found it on FB among some other incredible photos from the past. What actually amused me the most was, without the ID, how many of the replies here came from across the pond. You guys are quite intuitive, it seems!

Michael, Couldn't help but notice those dashing looking fellows have the same hat you're wearing in your avatar.
