Hello Magic Café, I've been loving the Café and I hope to be here for a long time.

I was just wondering how the Café feels about thread bumping. I've been searching and reading a lot on here on many topics that interest me. Let's say I come across some topics that are around 6 to 8 years old that I would love to comment on.

How does the Café feel about that? I did not see any guidelines regarding this, but even if there aren't any, is this practice annoying to other members?

It will *always* be annoying to some folks. Just make sure you have something relevant to add to the topic, as opposed to saying something along the lines of, "I agree". I often enjoy reading topics like this because you get a view of how something has gone over time.

Resurrecting a thread(bumping), regardless of age is fine. The only rules against it are in the For Sale sections of the Café, which you'll be able to access when you reach 50 posts. Welcome and enjoy your time here on the Café.
