June Elizabeth Cochrane was borne in Ireland. She was
considered by many as the best female magicienne at the time. She was also Miss Ireland before marrying Billy McComb. Sadly they split in 1969 prior to Billy moving to Los Angeles. She passed away in Spain 2007 just one year after Billy left us. Listen to this old timey announcer as he describes the act. Her work and her attire seemed far ahead of it's time. Just a bit racy eh? I love her table as well. This is recently discouvered footage of Junie as Billy called her. The milk trick is fantastic! June 1953 (The clip is clean as it came directly from the studio) Billy McComb 'The Godfather of Magic' I sure miss listening to Billy at the conventions. |

Thank you for sharing Devious! I absolutely love vintage magic footage like this. That bead trick was insane! She was incredibly talented and I agree, definately ahead of her time!
