I am looking for a place to buy Chinese manipulation fans. Preferably medium to small size. Any suggestions in the United States?

Ebay has a wide selection of fans. Almost all of them are suitable for manipulation!

Hello Magicjg,
Did you check the manipulation fans that Po Cheng Lai provides for purchase to his DVD "FANtasy" ? You can find them in every good magicstore. Otherwise I would check ebay, as suggested by RJH. The most important thing is that the fans need to have wooden ribs and not plastic, since the plastic will hurt and possibly cut your fingers when spinning the fans around them. Those fans come in a package of four, everyone in a different color (blue, green, red and yellow) with wooden black ribs. Oliver. |

Thanks everyone. I've searched and searched. Can only find 13 inch fans. Looking for something 10 or less. No luck so far.

I have found many sources, but there is not enough information to provide you with what you may be looking for.
What style? Chinese, Japanese, or Spanish? How long when open? How long when closed/shut? What color? What material for ribs? - Wood or Plastic? What material for fan cover? - nylon, paper or lace cover? What color Ribs if wood? - black, white, natural wood, same color as fan cover? What color Ribs if plastic - black, same color as fan cover? Do you want snap open only, otherwise requires two hands to open? How many? |
