I purchased a metal cup from a second hand store and would like to know of some good routines and any good books available.
Thanks, James

Did you purchase a chop cup or an ungimmicked metal cup? I'm using a chop cup routine with a paper ball and two limes... works pretty well... PM me if you're interested.

Brad Burt's Magic Shop sells a tape strictly devoted
to the chop cup. Check it out at Brad's website: http://www.magicshop.com Frank

I was in my local magic store the other day and we were trying to come up with cool stuff you could produce from a chop cup...such as a prosthetic dove! You know, when you jam one in there and put the cup on the table, it looks like it's hovering above the surface. Pretty cool!
Anyway, I've heard that Michael Ammar has a good double video set on cups and balls...but I'm not sure if it contains info on chop cups. -- Topher |
