I have never met more beautiful and friendly women
than during my time in El Paso, Texas whilst on the nearby White Sands Missle Range Project. It's where I met my now deceased wife. El Paso the city of Chico's Tacos, Harry Murphy, Debbie Reynolds, Anthony Quinn, F. Murray Abraham, Bobby Fuller and Max Malini is a wilde ride! I researched the works of Max Malini whilst I lived there and even met with his kin. I was humbled by the fact that Max once owned a magic shoppe there on California Street. Martin David Robinson was known professionally as Marty Robbins. He was one of the most popular and successful country and Western singers of his era, most of his nearly four-decade career. Marty was rarely far from the music charts. I sure miss El Paso and wish to thank the following for visiting me during my sentence there. Lance Burton, Jeff McBride, Dirk Losander, Jeff Ezell, Michael Close, David Copperfield, Ted Lesley, Bill Palmer Ray Banks (NASA) and Cody Fisher. Breaking Bad's El Paso,Video |

I didn't know F. Murray was from Texas! I always assumed he was from NYC. I once was in a class he taught. Underrated actor. Before he hit the big time he was in an Off-Broadway play called Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone which was performed in a little theater on Lower Death Street somewhere. He played about five or six different characters in the play and he was completely different in all of them. Trivia question: what does the F. stand for?

My guess is that the F stands for nothing. (I've heard about some (other?) actor with a meaningless initial in his name.)
Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

F stands for Fahrid. It was on the advice
of his english school teacher to drop his first name. Arabs are not too popular then or now. I lived in El Paso when his mother passed away and it literally brought him to his knees understandably. I only know this because my former lover Rosalie Interrian (God the things she could do) dated him as her classmate. El Paso High is where they met. He was a gang member but later on went on to graduate from Texas Western University. It's now known as UTEP. I must make a correction. He was only raised in El Paso. He was borne in Pittsburgh. |

Ding ding ding! Wikipedia has the story wrong, btw. Fahrid it is. His Dad was from Syria and the Anglicized version was Frederick, but the real name was Fahrid. At least, that is what he told us starry-eyed students.

Here is something dirty.
Al Pacino did not wish for Murray to participate in 'Scarface'. Brian de Palma insisted which almost cast someone other than Pacino for his role. Go back and watch the scenes between Murray and Pacino with this in mind. You will see the obvious tension. |
