Ha you beat me to it Josh!
I'll be blogging a step by step guide on how to build a Cabinet of Curiosity, how to theme it, what to add to it as well as other fancy bits like adding lighting, music and moving elements so it actually becomes more of an interactive sculpture. I aim to create several cabinets of various themes such as vintage magic, anatomy, the natural world, life & death etc so it will be a blog regular. Image all that wonderful Prof BC stuff on display amongst a multitude of oddities! Remember sign up here for more details... http://mad.ly/signups/103866/join Darkly Dan |

Dan, you are a true artist. I love that you are willing to take the time to post these intimate reflections, not to mention baring a part of your creative soul.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Lovely work Dan!
This will definitely be something I'll be doing (read: ask my boyfriend to do it for me) to house my father's vast collection in! |

I have decided to work on the bottom centre ‘curiosity zone’ first and theme this around séance and the spiritualist movement. A topic I hold close to my cold heart and the foundation on which I built Lebanon Circle with the very first release – ‘Ghost in the Machine’.
It will also incorporate a small version my most successful and renown effect ‘Dolly Darko’, an effect which took inspiration from Stewart James’ Sefalajia spirit cabinet. So as you can already guess, items will move around the curiosity cabinet with the assistance of ‘spirits’! http://t.co/nXCAvsDhW0 Darkly Dan |
