Pattrick - there aren't as many ventriloquists as there are magicians, so the number of "vent events" is extremely limited.

The Vent Haven ConVENTion is held in Hebron, KY. from July 16 - 19.
Ventarama runs this September in the UK
and
KAX runs at the end of January in CA.
Creative Ministry Solutions runs several puppetry workshops and event around the country. You'd need to check their web site for details.

Not sure about any others. You may want to touch base with Bob Abdou - he may know about puppet events.

The only one I am aware of is the Vent Haven Convention which I will also go to.

We'd love to see you at Vent Haven this coming summer (July 15-18 ) at the Cincinnati AIrport Marriott in Hebron, KY. It's about 15 minutes south of Cincinnati, OH in northern Kentucky, and included in your registration is a tour of the fabulous Vent Haven Museum!!
