Looking for some ideas/pointers on making a playing card turn to dollar bill. I've researched and come up with little. Card can't be folded which eliminate some nice methods. Needs to start in deck. Doesn't need to be examined before or after. Should reset if possible. I have some half baked ideas but need more or references.
Any help is appreciated.

Justin Miller has a nice quick credit card or gift card to dollar change called "Ka-Ching!". A version of it is on his DVD for his "First Hand" effect. Not sure where it was first published. The way the gimmick is made leads me to believe that you could also do it with a playing card to dollar. Worth a try.

Try Nate Kranzo's 'Pimpin' while it's a deck of cards to 5 bills, may be able to adapt it for your needs.

Thanks guys! All great items and may give me some direction. I looked at two of these before and moved on for various reasons: folded card, etc. But they all could be used in a different way if I make some modifications to my routine. I'm not quite willing to do that yet.
Am I correct thinking that reverse bill flash requires a folded card?

Here's a video of Justin Miller's Ka-Ching: http://vimeo.com/13526246 Video isn't the best quality but it should give you a good idea of what you can do with it. Just use a playing card instead of a gift card.

Philip Busk,
If you are familiar with Osaka bills by Jahn Gallo think in terms of his production. Been using this method since 2003, with cards, credit cards even large coins (2 inch). Works like a charm. It can be made to show both sides of a 'card' prior to production not after. If you are interested I also made a card to bill that can shows both sides, before and after the production. Good Luck. Philip in the download: Working Man by Adam Wilber. He does a trick named "Cash Card" where the spectator select a card, you show the card and wave your hand in front of it and the card changes to a dollar bill, and in the end the card is in his wallet where the money should be.
Great trick, hard to explain in words, but very visual. |

You might try experimenting with John Kennedy's Dollar Monte finale in reverse.
