Since Android has way more options for locking your screen I wouldn't expect a version for Android...

That's not a limitation. The only real reason not to do it is cost.
Let me put it another way. I use this app all the time and love it. However, you need to perform it on someone ELSE who owns an iPhone because of the locking feature. I own both Android and iOS devices and as an Android user, I can turn on the keypad lock feature at will or use one of several different mechanisms to unlock the phone. If you're performing this for an Android user, then you need to find out whether or not they use the keypad unlock feature and if not, then you really can't perform this on them. In short, the determining factor is the OTHER person's phone and whether or not they use the key lock security feature. There are no technical limitations preventing this from being written for Android and then performed on someone with an iPhone. Of course, the real factor is money and determining whether or not you can recoup your development cost is the real question. If the guys feel there isn't a big enough market for the app on another platform then it will never get made.

Unless I am mistaken, the description says that you give your phone to the spectator. I think the determining factor being the other person's phone is key for the pro version (I am not sure about the features of pro), but from what I know about the standard version (the one in Myke's signature), it will work very well on Android. Using a keypad to unlock an Android phone is not weird, rare, or even fishy. Yes, while there may be different lock screen themes that are available, no one will question it.
Now, with the latest Lollipop version (especially with ART runtime and SeLinux policies), it may not be as easy as it would have been on pre-Lollipop. In the end, like Steven says, it all boils down to cost (and time). |

I use this with people that have an android phone all the time. Because for me the effect is not opening their phone it is getting the spectator to open your phone by sending them each digit mentally one at a time. In the process of performance with the pro version you could also get the spectators birthdate, zodiac sign, day of birth, specific card that lands on their birthdate, any pin code or pass code and if you own a pebble or other devices you can have that information instantaneously.
Yes it's true that this app will probably never be released on the android platform but you can definitely perform it for people who have android phones.

If you're not going to the finale of unlocking their phone then of course, they can have any phone. In fact, they don't even need a phone.

I'm dredging this old forum up, I know, sorry!
However, I've been really interested in this app since reading about it in celebrity's (Michael Murray) "A Piece of My Mind" (pages 62 and 116 so far). The video sealed the deal. Also, thank you GordonTheHypnotist, for giving a very basic breakdown of the difference between pro and standard versions. I had assumed as much (some of what you said being in the pro version) but it's nice to know for sure. Quote:

No rush, btw, I recently bought celebrity's book (as mentioned) so I will have to save up my lunch money to get that. For the record, I am not actually going to save up my lunch money, but I do need to do my taxes before I know when I will be able to pick this up. Thanks guys, Lem |

Not trying to push anyone into buying anything but it will be $100 more once it hits the App Store.

Thanks Pegasus! Rasp, according to reviews, the app needs to be upgraded from ios7 to iOS 8 or 9 or else it the interface/lock screen/etc. doesn't act like a normal phone (which is a big part of the point of the app's deceptiveness - For example, think of a gaffed deck of playing cards the doesn't really "feel" like a normal deck of playing cards). I was trying to ask the app's developers if they have plans to update the app to the new iOS. If not, there's less reason for me or anyone else to buy it esp. given its price. Thanks

Magic1 I'm still not following what you mean. I have the pro version and the latest IOS. My passcode screen on IUYM is the same as my legitimate passcode screen...... can you be more specific with what is wrong with yours.
