I've been giving readings with the tarot for the past couple of months and I'm always looking to expand the horizons of how we can improve our systems. I recently came upon this article and apparently, foot readings are starting to get trendy. Feet readings reveal the current situation/mood of a sitter, past lineage history and what qualities the person carries. Not sure if the post is dully corrected, but these are some ideas to look into. Enjoy! =)

A bit too fetishy for me. But if your reading stinks, you could always blame it on the feet.

I believe the art of foot readings is called Podoscopy and, at one point, was practiced in some Asian countries. I was not aware such readings were becoming trendy. Sylvester Stallone's mother used to ask celebrities to send her photocopies of their naked rear ends and she would read those in the same way a palmist would read a hand. She called it Rumpology (and no-I am not making this up.)

Look at my avatar photo... what does my sole say about my soul? Smile

If two chiropodists were fighting for customers, would they be ''arch'' rivals ?

"foot readings are starting to get trendy" No its not!

I will tell you that feet reading is a horrible idea and I will also tell you why.

In a study of 500 women conducted 2008 by Kelton Research for the American Podiatric Medical Association showed that 50 percent of women that were apart of this study said that they were embarrassed by their feet.

Now lets look at this from a readers point of view this means simply that a large number of your potential clientele will want nothing to do with this type of reading.I also think from personal experience that most of the lades you currently read the cards for are embarrassed by their feet. So if you do try this as a reading form you will have already limited your target market by 50 percent or more since most of the ladies I know that get reading hate their feet. So even before you try to find someone to give your first reading to using this type of system you have already shot yourself in the foot.Pun intended. That's why its a horrible idea.

Now here is where the above study could have application and be employed in the form of a broad call to group of women in the form of a simple c**d re*ding statement. “I see that some of you here today are embarrassed by your feet!” Which would seem like an odd thing to say however you would be correct half of the time or more. Which is not too bad for a blanket statement that is a bit unusual. But as a reading form its a terrible idea.

Now there is nothing wrong looking for an off beat reading system but feet reading - that's not the way to go at all since your limiting your market before you even give your first reading. You would be better off searching out a simple, quick and effective system such as the one shown in the below photograph called the Coins of Spirit Fortune shown below the pendulum board I also designed.

In about two weeks I doing a teleseminar where I will be talking about various reading systems and other things. More on that later. Feet reading, is such a horrible idea no wonder ever comment since that topic has been posted has been a joke. I sure you can find a better reading system than that and one that would promote an actual discussion.I amazed that I even saw that as a topic for conversation.
