Hi everyone,

I recently purchased Cerebral Connection by Mike Kempner from Lybrary.com. Here's the link: http://www.lybrary.com/cerebral-connection-p-504428.html

Here's what the author says:

Would you like to be able to connect with someone on a purely mental level? Monks in India have reportedly been able to meditate and attain a trance-like state that allows them to tap into someone else's consciousness. With cerebral connection, you will be able to display your monk-like properties, and in the process, amaze your spectator with something that cannot be explained.

You write something down on a piece of paper. It is a number between 1 and 100. You leave this paper face down on a table. You will not touch this paper, ever again...and it will not be switched. This paper is your prediction. You then give another piece of paper that has 100 numbers written on it. These numbers are 1 through 100, each written one time.

The spectator tears the paper into hundred pieces with one number on each piece. Going through a simple and randomized selection procedure the spectator picks one number. You immediately instruct her to turn-over the prediction paper that has been lying on the table, all this time! Amazingly, it says "you will pick 28"! This is just an example. You can also do this with words or thoughts. The effect is simply unexplainable.

Essentially this is a clever force that can be expanded to anything you can write on a piece of paper.

I have to say, for $4.00, I was happy with my purchase. Mike Kempner teaches a new (as far as I know) and simple method for forcing, as he says, anything that you can write on a piece of paper. The selection process is so fair that no one will ever think that you could have forced the outcome. This requires no sleight of hand and is definitely something I will be using. Needless to say, I was very happy with the method.

I also feel that this product was underdeveloped. Basically, all that you are getting is the method. The author barely talks about presentation, and in the few days that I have had this product, I have already discovered many things that I would have included in the PDF.

Summary:
For $4.00, I would definitely recommend this. It is a great utility to have, and it can be applied in so many different ways. If you are looking for a product with complete scripting and presentational ideas, than this is not for you. But, if you are comfortable developing your own presentation, then you should not hesitate to buy this.

Rating: 7/10

If you have any questions about this product, feel free to pm me. Also, if you buy this product, pm me and I will be happy to share my ideas on this effect.

How long does the tearing sequence last? 100 pieces is a bit much to manage

Honestly, I would never have my spectator tear up the paper because it would take quite a while. I would just do it myself beforehand to save time during the effect. You could also just use less numbers. It works with any amount.
