  1897: A critic by Gustave GEFFROY [1855-1926 / Reporter and Critic, one of the 10 original members of Académie Goncourt, friend ofClaude Monet] about SPIRITISME, a play by Victorien Sardou. The main role was played by Sarah Bernhardt, and the letter speaks about the fraudulent medium Henry Slade, his relation with Masklyn, and is a critic against Sardou's believe in spiritualism. Quote:
