Pete,
I only need a couple. Thought a dealer might carry them. So far, no luck. Thanks. Harp |

Worst case is you go to the drugstore or target or whatever and buy a purse and just get rid of the bag.
you can just rip it right off. did that myself once just to see if it could be done successfully.

Denny & Lee appears to have them for $2.50 each: look here. I'm not sure if they're silver or gold; you might phone to ask.

In the summer time garage and estate sales have them,
with material attached. Nearly Normal Tip of the week: Get an old cigarette case and you will have a double sided purse frame. (Again you will have to take off the material. Check Kaufman's Coin Magic for ideas with this two sided "purse" Harris

I got one for five dollars from Shoot at a convention. Same one he uses for neo purse frame. It is pretty large but I like it a lot better and it doesn't look cheap like another one I got from a magic store.
Check out my new effect "As Good As It Gets" a gimmickles pencil or pen through bill effect. It closely mimmicks the slow motion phase of "Misled." About "As Good AS It Gets" for no gimmicks and everything being borrowed.

Another purse frame link. Has nine pages! They even carry cigar purse frames. Some truly unique styles.

Thanks for the links. There are several that will be perfect. I was actually looking for kind of an antique looking frame in nickel to go along with a story line.
Thanks again. Harp |

Do you know who was the FIRST MAGICIAN to use a purse frame?
It was Al Flosso. He wore the fabric off his frame (it had a hole in it to produce a wand) and shortly after it was in Slydini's repertoire... and the rest is history.
