I am trying to pull together a reference list about the Mr. Stickman effect. I know that it is part of the Richard Sanders Show DVD. Jonathan Kamm has a version which has been published in magic magazine. Are there other references out there? Thanks for the help.

It's a great plot.
My take on it can be found on my A Phew More Routines lecture DVD. https://sites.google.com/site/glennmorphew/magicians-only Here's a link to a performance. The trick certainly plays for one, but I typically perform it for groups and I involve 3 or more spectator's throughout the performance. http://youtu.be/NF-SJaU7IUY Glenn

I have seen or read variations by the following magicians.
David Acer Glen Morphew David Becham Cameron Francis Liam Montier Mark Mason Steve Haynes J.K. Hartman Matthew Leatherbarrow I'm sure there are more. It is a very visual and very strong plot. Jim |

I am a fan of Sanders' Mr Stickman (I streamline it a little compared to the original) and it is a staple part of my set. Even when I rest it for a couple of months, it finds its way back pretty soon unlike some other routines that have come and gone. In my view it is better/simpler/more direct than his 'Stickman 4' which elswhere on these boards garnered greater praise.
Anyway, as you ask for references, a different 'stickman' trick I can refer you to be found in Mathew Dowden's 'Party Animal' dvd. It's pretty good though I've never performed it (just inertia/lack of time, no reflection on the trick). It might be possible, if I recall the latter properly, to combine the Dowden's trick with Mr Stickman though I am not completely sure. I guess another stickman reference could/should be 'Cardtoon'? I liked your performance Glenn, thanks for sharing.
