I thought he was really fascinating for both his NVMS and non-NVMS posts.
His politics were particularly interesting. As far as I could make out, he was a gun-toting pacifist.

Ah, KPFK is the Los Angeles Pacifica Network station of which WBAI is the New York affiliate. I work at WBAI a few days a week. The Pacifica outlets are some of the very few radio stations where it would be fair to say that they are as far to the left as Fox is to the right. Good for you --that's really broadening your listening.

Some of those on Pacifica are lunatics, but also some very good coverage not easily available elsewhere.
