Last week Marcelo Insua demonstrated the L.T.C. card on a lecture which I visited. I've got one for free with another purchase but gave it away. I don't like the gimmick and prefer sleight of hand but some people in the crowd were astonished. If you want a simple method to perform the effects as shown and don't want to put in the time & effort which you will get with sleight of hand, there's some room for the L.T.C.
I can imagine that some people are interested because lack of skill or due to a physical disability. But still.....you could also use a s**rt card for some of the effects and the L.T.C. is only available in Bicycle Rider back (limited supply). |

Bietfriek,
In a lecture, people are generally sitting several feet away. In the ad trailer and in the teaching video, he is performing close-up, as most card magic is done. In that environment, it JUST DOESN'T WORK. He MIGHT get away with performing it close-up (heavy emphasis on "might"), but NOT the way he taught or demonstrated it with the participant handling the cards. KJ |

1KJ, I'm sorry, but I think it is a great gimmicked card, you think that people noticed the gimmicked but I think if you use the gimmicked properly nobody will notice that.

Mr Tango. Oh, Mr. Tango...
Grow some ethics. In your demo video and on the explanation DVD, you have a spectator shuffle and handle the cards. If they don't notice your gimmick, then they may just have slipped into a coma. I don't just "think" participants notice the gimmick, I KNOW they notice the gimmick. Not once, not twice, not thrice, but many times. I tried it several times and every time they noticed the strange gimmick. I'm not talking about using the gimmick properly... I'm talking about using the gimmick EXACTLY as you demonstrated. Who are you trying to fool? Sadly, I think you should recall this product. KJ |
