I've liked Gaga's acting work in AHS and even I'm not excited about Joker 2.
We'll watch it, but I'm not paying theater prices for it.

I thought it was an okay tribute to 70s movies like Taxi Driver. Might have even been a great movie for that era. In the world we live in... yeesh.

Here's my Batman is the greatest hero journey:

As a kid, Adam West- fun. Colorful.

1989: Holy Schnikes. There aren't enough words. I'm still in grade school I think? Tail end? There's these gadgets. He's so cool and a little weird and goth and funny but not dork gothy and he knows karate. The city is amazing. The soundtrack is slapping. Nicholson! Basinger! I mean, do I need to sell this? Batman Returns, I'm in Junior High, Catwoman, figure it out. Loved it.

I was told I watched the Adam West one as a toddler during its original run, but my first memories of it are from the early 70s in re-runs in the afternoon. I didn't like it back then. I thought the George Reeves Superman TV show was MUCH better. I don't like it now, either. I've caught parts of episodes recently on MeTV on Saturday evenings -- there's realy nothing about it that I like. The George Reeves Superman still holds up well for me.

The Nicholson/Keaton movie has never been topped (for me), and to this day is the only Batman movie I've liked. I haven't seen all the recent ones, but I could barely sit through the ones I've seen.

Unfortunately for Sony, no one had any expectations for it. It has released to an opening weekend of $11 million.

This is the lowest opening for one of these Sony comic book movies, yes, even worse than Madame Web.

Sony has indicated they will stop making these, cancelling plans for Silver Sable, El Muerto, and other characters no one has ever heard of other than comic book fans.

I wanted to see a "Rose And The Thorn" movie. An actually timid woman who doesn't know she's developed a second personality as a kick-ass super hero, avenging the death of her father at the hands of "The 100," DC's "organized" crime organization.

Did anyone catch the premiere of Creature Commandos animated series? This is an adaptation of the DC comics series. I found this animated version a bit too brutal and gory. For example, GI Robot. Now he's even more savage than the Werewolf Warren Griffith.
Admittedly it is with some bias that I say this, because I've always preferred a comic book in the first place, rather than animated.

I'm liking it but jeebus that Weasel episode got dark.

Just heard Bucky/Winter Soldier won't be in the new Captain America. That makes me about 20% less likely to watch it in the theater.

My problem is I just like the old school experience of going to the movie theater to see movies. I like the over priced popcorn and soda, I like watching it on big screens and I shut off my phone and just go away for that time. The movie is part of that. I have not really moved to the streaming experience for the first time I see movies.

I DO enjoy streaming for things like Harley Quinn and Reacher and so forth so I have nothing against the medium.

Bucky is not Sam's friend. There's be no reason for him to be there.

I do love going to the theater but with four kids, two with disabilities, I have to be selective.

They did an entire buddy comedy series together, though.
I think they just don’t want Bucky upstaging him in Harrison Ford's own mov... I mean in Sam's own movie.

that's a point. I hadn't thought of that. I'm having a problem with "Harrison Ford" as "Thunderbolt" Ross. Not that he CAN'T do it, but I see him as too... sympathetic!

Ross is, and always has been, an assbutt!

It’s called acting. He “acts” differently. The clue is right there in the verb.

I remember what he said to David Blaine in that special and it was perfect.
