I still want to see a live action Doc Samson with powers.

Doc Sampson was always interesting to me. Depending on when he was written and by who his level of power was different.
As a side note I just went through the old Joe Fixit stuff with the Hulk. I hated it at the time because I thought he should always be green and jump around the planet but the story has grown on me.

I like Joe Fixit. They tend to do interesting things with Madripoor.

The Kingpin not knowing who he was seemed a bit odd as Kingpin isn't an idiot and all but other than that it really is a cool story.

Marvel comes up with some great ones. I loved the mutant virus arc as well and how Beast tortured himself with guilt over it.
A lot more nuance than one usually expects from a comic. X-Men was pretty relatable as a teenager. But my favorite Marvel comics are still Conan the Barbarian. And now he's been an Avenger because Marvel is also insane.

I always thought they would adapt the Korvac Saga to a movie.

Anyone watching Daredevil?
I enjoy it. Aside from having the coolest initials in all comics, the series is good as well.

It's been a slow burn but I'm liking it.
I heard a "theory" though that they're planning to follow the comics storyline where Foggy faked his death to enter witness protection. They might, but I feel like that would be a jerk move since they let a dude stand trial and be convicted of his murder. I also can't imagine Bullseye fake murdering anyone.

I do also. Interesting how they are both devolving to former patterns.
They have explored both the protagonist and the antagonist in equal measure and it is paying off. Just as it did before in my view. Nice to see Punishy too. In the Superhero genre I’ve always been drawn more to the street tier of heroes and villains. I couldn’t relate well to the FF or Hulk, but a guy with a grievance and a gun is something that is closer to human experience. Daredevil even with enhanced senses and such is right there on the edge of just a dude. Batman a rich dude and so is Queen but still just guys. Those were the characters that moved me. Villains also like Luther and Joker and Kingpin I thought were better to make relatable stories about. The mob bosses of Gotham as well. I think when they are almost human it makes relatable stories more attainable. Plus DD has the coolest initials in comics so there’s always that.

Me too. It's more inspirational when the abilities are earned and not just inherited.
Cool initials are also one reason Teddy Roosevelt was my favorite President. Cause them's my real initials.

Earned and not inherited. I like that turn of phrase.
I guess Cap is a blend of each. There was one point at which he was fighting Korvac after Vision and Wonder Man and that tier was down he hits Michael with the shield nd start preaching about how he is about to be beaten by “just a man”. In all fairness I called shenanigans back then because there have shown Cap lifting cars! But he did earn his strategy and his skill set.

I'm sure everyone has seen this trailer by now,
https://www.google.com/search?q=new+supe......UBs,st:0 but da*n, I think DC has a chance with this film. Embracing Krypto, and treating him in such an embracing way may grab a huge audience. And the vibrant color and energy of this trailer (and the previous ones) are much fresher than the darker hero films of late. I'm bias though, since a good chunk was filmed in my town (Cleveland). But still, maybe this is a rebirth for Superman?
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Krypto is popular to be certain. I’m definitely in the minority not caring for the character.
He survived the reboot in 1986 but Byrne that eliminated all other survivors from Krypton. He was the first reintroduced I believe. They really didn’t want to mess with that “last son of Krypton thing”, but obviously they did. They just have such a poor history with Sups he is due for a hit. I hope this is it.

I was just watching a Thor movie got me thinking how bad Marvel is at how they treat women heroes compared to DC, at least in the movies.
Jane Foster gets Thor powers and dies in the same movie. Peggy Carter gets Captain America powers and dies in the same movie. They built up Captain Marvel as the strongest ever just to have her get knocked into orbit by Thanos pretty much instantly. Black Widow had that stupid "I'm a monster cause no can make babies" thing then death for plot. Gamorah, same death for same plot. Only the blue chick got to have any solid development and stay cool. Whereas Wonder Woman was top tier respected and powerful in her first movie (Wonder Woman First Justice Avenger, I think it was called), BvS, Snyder Cut, and even her brief appearance in The Flash. Only Superman could win a fight with her, because Superman. She was never the damsel in distress, she was just cool as heck. Marvel did better in their shows than their movies (Echo was cool and making Colleen Wing an Iron Fist was a good move) but they'll never make a woman hero as cool as Snyderverse Wonder Woman.
