Sotheby's, Cliff. Same folks that auctioned off Clayton Moore's original powder-blue Lone Ranger costume.
Note that the Sotheby's Comics collection comprises comics even BEFORE Action Comics #1. |

Could be good. This movie from the 70's did little to benefit the character, and I'm sure Lee Flak was sorry he sanctioned it.

Maybe a little bit of the "Captain America" movie where "Cap" was the beach boy son of the original. That one came off as a red white and blue "Six Million Dollar Man." I would ask if "Mandy" is actually going to be able to affect reality, or is she just going to "gesture hypnotically" and people THINK they're seeing things?

Recently, the release date for "Wonder Woman 1984" (WW84) got changed again. This time to December 25th.
And there is talk that "Black Widow" might get changed from it's current November 6th release date. I'm looking forward to the Marvel series, "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" (originally scheduled to be released in August 2020) and "WandaVision" (originally scheduled to be released in December 2020) on Disney+, but both of those series have been delayed because of COVID. Apparently, "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" has resumed filming, after stopping in March. No (new) release dates announced at this time. - Donald

Ok, so Tatiana Maslany has been cast as the She Hulk. I don't really know her work, but I do have an issue. Tatiana is 5'4" tall. Should the She Hulk be a bit taller? I think she was supposed to be 5'11" in the comic books. Maybe they will cast short guys around her?

Hollywood has never cared about such things. Thor is a bit short isn't he? For that matter (Not a comic book example but shows the point.) Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher is RIDICULOUS casting from a strict height point of view. Reacher is 6'5" and about 250. Lets just say ol Tom isn't.
In the books Jennifer Walters is billed as 6'7" if I am not mistaken, making your point of size even MORE silly LOL! She also is supposed to top the scale about 650 or so. (Even MORE ridiculous than ol Tom!) I do see your point Cliff. But it may just come down to finding talented actors with the right chemistry (No pun intended teach!) on screen to fill the roles.

Tom Cruise is 5'6". When he first hit Hollywood back in the 80's he tried to pass himself off as 5'11". That didn't work well. I was upset that he played Reacher. I wanted the 6'2" Jim Cavizel for the role. Author Lee Child didn't like it either' He was behind Tom because he thought Tom wanted to be the producer, not the star.

He played the TSA agent who looked at his ridiculously not like him ID and waved him through. Some said that was Child's way of endorsing him.
He was let go from future playing of the character. The Netflix streaming service if they do a series will obviously use a different actor.

As a group, the average height of actors ... is 5-feet-10 for males and 5-feet-5 for females ... and the average height of best actor winners [in the Academy Awards] is 5-feet-11 and of best actresses is 5-feet-5 1/2 inches.
I thought they were taller than thant on verage.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I never knew of the golden-age Zatara until the very first time I saw his daughter in an issue of Green Lantern. It tantalized me because it had only a brief glimpse of the Father. Later on, I acquired a back-issue of THE ATOM which was much better and, in fact, my all-time favorite story of sorcery because it was combined with Stage-magic. In helping Zatanna search for her Father in a Micro-verse, the duo fight the villainous Druid, a mage with a white beard and white robe, with a wreath around his head. It was learned that the Druid supposedly vanquished Zatara by using a powerful spell which totally drains away all of the opponent's occult energy, and then the Druid absorbing that energy into his own body. Apparently that's how Zatara was vanquished. The Druid uses that same spell to drain the daughter Zatanna, and absorb her energy. In a stroke of genius (and this is why this is my all-time favorite sorcery tale), Zatanna instead uses stage-magic by shooting playing-cards from inside her sleeves. Suddenly, the Druid shudders and begins to stagger, and finally lose consciousness! What happened was that Zatanna did not cast any spell at all but the Druid thought she did. He absorbed that "pseudo-magic" into his system--an element his magical body could not tolerate. |

And, for that matter, I'm pretty certain Mark Ruffalo isn't 7 feet tall (8? How tall IS the Hulk?) But he goes down as the first "Bruce Banner" to actually play the Hulk as well.

I don't know what Frank was specifically trying to capture here, but the man being attacked reminds me of Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes.
