I am absolutely stoked about Thunderbolts, though. Red Guardian and Yelena were great in a less than popular movie and Bucky is always one of my favorites. If you read the comics Cap and Bucky were trained by Rex Applegate and I like to think that's why he uses the stiletto in his first fight with Cap in the Winter Soldier movie, because the stiletto is pretty much the signature knife of the Fairbairn/Applegate school. I love little historical details like that.

Marvel Studios tend to those details pretty well.

Speaking of Harrison Ford, this just popped up and it's pretty touching.
I'm a big fan of E.O. Wilson. https://youtu.be/06uYTjKwS1E?si=-Idt_l3ACmB87Epn

This film - at least by what I've seen in the trailers - has a similar vibe to Guardians of the Galaxy which is packed with action, but doesn't take itself too seriously. I'm also liking what I've seen with the new Superman. Granted, I live in Cleveland where a lot of this film was filmed, but it really looks good. And I didn't think I would want to see Krypto on the big screen, but maybe that's what this franchise needs.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I was excited to go to a movie the other night and not have a trailer for a superhero movie.

Superman does look good. He's far from my favorite hero, but I'll defo be watching that movie.
Also wish they'd hurry up with the next season of Peacemaker.

Ol Sups is really tough to write for and always has been.
Stan Lee did a signing at a comic shop I used to work at. (Back when Marvel was bankrupt and he would do signings for a sandwich!) At dinner he was talking about how difficult it was to write for almost omnipotent characters such as Sups. How do you make them relatable? How do you really put them in any danger? It is difficult to say the least. Without those two components it is tough to really do compelling work with them. It is why the Hulk being enraged and stupid works. Those foibles make him less omnipotent. Even the first Hulk movie was almost unwatchable. The second one not much better. Once he was part of the Avengers and an ancillary character it comes across much easier. Gene Hackman carried the first two Sups movies back with Reeve. Lex Luthor has always been the key to making him more human. In Smallville when Sups was just getting his powers, the series was great. Rosenbaum was a FANTASTIC Luthor and a great way to make Sups human. Hopefully they got the formula down this time. I like James Gunn. I am just NOT a fan of Krypto. Hopefully he is not in it much. Looks like Ultraman, the Sups clone, is in the movie so he can definitely worry him some. Mr. Terirific will be interesting as will Green Lantern and Hawk Girl. I always liked Shiera Hall. There are rumors of Supergirl being in the movie. Her movie is the next real big one so it makes sense to see her here. Oh and Aquaman as Lobo! This seems like a LOT of people to introduce in one movie. I have to admit this is what makes me nervous. But I will be there.

Yeah hopefully he can manage the menagerie.
I actually liked the Hulk movies. They're not the best but they're not the worst. I did not like the second Dr. Strange. Even though Reeves Superman movies got progressively worse, the bit where de-powered Clark fought evil Superman was pretty well acted. A little goofy, but we'll acted.

It's not the greatest movie ever but I liked it well enough. Some nice tributes to the old show and they did some stuff from the old comics that no other movie has done.

It was an interesting time in that the transformation was really cool for the time. The watch falling off, the shoes and ask that was cool. Yes they did the comic book panel look for that too and that was fun.
It was also the first time they were able to use cinema tech to show the Hulk size property. He WAS 7 foot tall and 1,00 lbs! Plus he didn’t run to leave, he jumped around the planet. For those of us Hulk fans this was amazing. The story and move left a lot to be desired. For me these things were worth it though. I loved the dessert scene where he was smashing into the tank like a linebacker. Then beats the other one like an angry redneck hitting a cheating girlfriend car with a bat. Then he has the barrel and is tapping it on his other hand in anticipation. Maybe that was the second movie I’m not sure but these things brought him more to “life” as far as I was concerned.

I want to mention the Constantine television series.
The show overall was sort of meh, but Matt Ryan was the perfect John Constantine. This guy deserves a real shot at a quality Constantine story.

Also thinking I may have been wrong about the new Captain America movie. It's sounding better and better the more I hear.
I assumed it would be kind of boring because I always found Falcon kind of boring (and little) but I'm changing my mind. Might give it a shot this weekend while the youngest is with her grandpa.

It is getting pretty bad reviews.
Easy to follow but no reason to bother type of thing.
