I for one was disturbed to read of this man's passing (suicide in holding cell, age 37 after a bank robbery!. Although I never knew or met the man, he was a fellow magician who fell on bad times and made a very bad choice. Joshua Jay wrote the obituary, mentioning Basil's contributions to the 'talk about tricks' column. His family has requested donations via gofundme.com to cover funeral costs.This was extremely upsetting to read and I wondered if anyone else had something to add. Lynn
