I agree! I've enjoyed performing both of the included routines for many years. I'm sure you will too!

Very clear instructions on the DVD as well.
The Red and White ropes make it a nice color tie in with Christmas shows (but I wouldn't relegate it to just Christmas Shows). -Mary Mowder |

Is that the same thing as "jumping knot of Pakistan right? First time I saw it performed at a SCAM meeting I was hooked. I bought it and never touched it. Wth? Ha!

I've heard they are mostly the same but there are some differences as well. (You have to know Daryl would add a few touches, he is "The Magician's Magician" after all.)
It might be worth buying again just to get the instructions by Daryl. Very clearly explained and will inspire you to "Get to it". -Mary Mowder |

I learned this effect about 15 years ago from Daryl's rope video #3- Jumping knot of Pakistan. Its pretty much the same effect. I think just more PC.
Anyways- great effect. Gets great reactions. Easy to do. Packs small, plays big. What more can you want? |

It's a favourite of mine too.. Goes over with kids and adults alike. Daryl's sliding knot addition is visually clever!
The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love & be loved in return.

I'm late on this bandwagon.
Got it a couple of months ago, and will take it out on a test drive during a gig Saturday night.

Daryl credits Pavel, at least on his Expert Rope Magic dvds, he does.

On his Amazing Acrobatic Knot DVD he clearly credits Pavel multiple times. I love the effect. Fun to do and gets a good reaction.

I've performed it for years. I added touches that Daryl used in his routine, from one of his lectures, as well as from the original instructions. I also have a great way to get into the routine, keeping the knot with the rope.

I've been performing it for about 17 years and it always gets good reactions. It's not too difficult either, and Daryl makes a good set for it that's easy to use.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |

Thanks Alan. I was hoping to be able to buy the rope alone (and pay less that #36 for a trick I already have)
