I'm looking for a "brick & mortar" shop to visit, closest to Buffalo, NY.
Sadly miss Elmwood Magic. Buying via the net is OK, but just lookin' to get the feel again. Any leads? Thanx. |

Don't think there is one anymore. Elmwood Magic went online only a while back and then Four Jokers in Tonawanda closed. I miss that place...

You should make the effort and take the time to drive to Toronto to experience one of the finest remaining brick and mortars, the Browser's Den of Magic, Canada's oldest brick and mortar magic shop and (IMHO) one of the best in the world.
Jeff (the owner) is an expert demo'ist and will insure your visit is a happy one. Note: It's closed Mondays. Check its site for details: http://www.browsersden.com Quote:

Used to live in the Buffalo area in Williamsville, NY. I agree with The Magic Demon. I used to drive up to Toronto Browser's Den which brought me back to that childhood feeling of sheer amazement and amusement. It is about a 90-110 minute drive and it is definitely worth it. They demo many products and are always willing to help you in your magical quest.
