Well, two things:

1) Isn't that Tom Wright's girlfriend?

2) Would it not be unethical to put a biased spectator on your trailer?

I hate to criticize but of all places to write on a card - probably the most unnatural place to write would be the border. It is small and you are confined to a very small space. So why?!?
This just looks like another gimmick for the junk drawer but I love being proven wrong Smile

why would it be unethical? Unless she is an accomplice helping out and making the effect play out to be better than it looks, I don't see how she is biased... she is most likely just a lay person like anyone else.

How is this different from mark mason performing for his friends then....

I like the arrow. It looked good. Itf this can be added in at the end of a routine, then that little arrow shoots through as a little extra, that could make a nice little giveaway.
Regarding being somebodies girlfriend I really don't know but hey, it's clear as to what the effect is.

Saw this today.... my reaction was.... meh. Kinda pointless as it cannot be examined for a single second and the card is as gimmicked to the hills as it gets.

Someone explained this to me. It's smart, but it's WAY too much work for a single effect (although simplistic, the gimmick is very complex to make a 1cm border change).

It's practical enough though.

Totally Sashac. OFFSET is ten times better in terms of options, durability and examinability.

Hi Guys,
Just to clear a few things up...
Yes, that is Tom's Fiancé. We didn't show her the effect before the filming as we wanted a genuine reaction (as you probably know, Arron and Tom work together often, hence why she was about).
In terms of the gimmick, we supply one which you can set up as you like, and include instructions and the supplies to make more as and when you need. There is a handling included to reuse the gimmick as many times as you like, so you won't need to make new gimmicks every time.

Any other questions please ask Smile

I have seen this long before and trust me its one of the best ink effect. The concept of ink change at the border is very creative and magic happening with single card makes it more visual and suspect less.

Good job man I love this Smile

Are there any reviews on this yet? After the big build-up on the Wizard Product Review and LADS, I expected more "buzz"...but the pickin's are slim.

Could somebody make the 'jumbled up writing on the back of a card' thing stop?

This just doesn't work, way too obvious. The spectator can literally see the gimmick. Read the full review for more.

I agree the gimmick is easy to see, I had one thought as to "get around that" and here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nwiW1hZ_cE

Why would one want to get this to begin with? Why not just do a color change? Both shape shifter or the "twirl change" would do the job and create the same effect from the spectators point of view.

Sorry to say this, but this is magic created to sell to bored hobbyists who are bored with their old methods and want something new to play with.

Or the flick change... or the snap change....

I guess this would be for people who want that same "style" of effect without the skill to pull it off.

Which is weird because I have heard great things about his JUMP INK effect

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that this is now only $14.95 at MJM (normal retail was $37.50):

http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/-p-19467.html

Limited supply though, so I wanted to let our Café members know about the price drop while quantities last.
