Overhyped, don't buy it.
Because I want to be the ONLY PERSON on earth that does this --- THIS IS probably THE MOST ingenious thing I've seen in .. ever.. One of those few effects that is fun for both the performers and the audiences. After an hour of playing with it I still don't understand how in the living HELL does this actually work. Physics, is freaking WEEIIIRRRDD! This is going straight into my show, end of discussion. This is how ingenious the gimmick is, when I opened the package, I was like "huh, is this?" I thought I was missing something. The gimmicks are absolutely 100% undetectable. I seriously have no idea how someone even came up with it. My mind is officially blown. So please everyone, don't buy it, I wanna be the only one that does this!!!!!!!

Hello Bowers and Takeachance...not sure if you guys are making a joke here or not. I can
be a little slow sometimes. Please forgive me if I'm missing the point here..but wanted to clarify just in case: Nash just gave WaterWorks a glowing positive review. His headline about it being overhyped seems to be a joke..as the rest of his review is all about how wonderful WaterWorks is...and that he said it was overhyped to prevent anyone else from buying it..so he can have it all for himself. So on the off chance that you guys aren't joking..and maybe only read the top "joke" line of his review and not the rest of it..please go back and read his review..which might make you realize that WaterWorks is quite the joyous thing..and actually lives up to it's hype. I read the reviews and there seems to be many problems with the gimmick . The wizard product review did not give this effect a good review !

Hi Top Hatter. All problems have been solved. Also..keep in mind that the Wizard guys sell a competing version of this effect..that requires palming the gimmick. So
if they gave a great review to WaterWorks, they would be killing sales on their own version. Joy Janet Harris Astonisment Godess keeper of the books |

I think that's an exaggeration of her statement LOL. But very chivalrous of you on Dave's behalf Jamie, if not a tad over sensitive and dramatic.

OK so after a week of using this gimmick -- A LOT .. I have to rescind some of the enthusiasm in the original post.
YES, there seems to be a flaw in the gimmick after multiple uses, it is something I've heard from 2 other magicians already regarding the clean-up. And sadly, I'm experiencing this trouble as well. For those who have this, can you confirm you also have the 'clean-up' problem after heavy uses?

one of the fairest, most stand up guys in magic. That reviews his own products and products he produces, and the products of his friends. I recall a time when reviews actually had at least the image of being un-biased, and would bring in "guest reviewers" as needed or simply not cover them, rather than rely on someone being a "fair stand up guy". I love Penn, and I do think he is fair and standup... that doesn't excuse it though. Biases can be subconscious. |
