Id love to hear how you're combining the two, George. I can't wait to get my set in. I have Tele Photo but have never really used it.
So just to be sure...the Depicting Thoughts set comes with 2 white decks that are identical? |

I was fortunate to be asked to help fine tune the translation of the booklet that accompanies the Postcards so may be a bit biased but want to add my endorsement for this wonderful product. From the moment I saw jpegs of the cards I knew they were something special.
As much as I like and use the original Depicting Thoughts cards, I have found myself gradually gravitating towards using the Postcards more often. The images are rendered in a manner that is at once stunning, elegant and, perhaps most important, evocative. Participants are "drawn in" by the photos so while they can be used simply as is, they can be utilized in a more sophosticated manner by tapping into (or, dare I say it, leading into) memories and feelings of the viewers. As NeilS pointed out above, working with memories "provoked" by the images opens up wonderful and unique possibilities above and beyond that which is merely seen. |

In reply to Matthew, there are two idential sets of postcards. If you wish, this would also allow you to create a mene tekel set but, for me, I will just be using one of the sets which is more than sufficient.

Matt, I will pm you about using this with tele-foto. How are you getting on with the pendulum ?

Thanks Neil. It seems one set would suffice for me as well.
George, the pendulum is great. I removed the string and replaced it with a more natural hemp like rope. It swings much more freely now. I would love to incorporate a pendulum into a routine using the Depicting Thoughts cards. Has anyone did such? |

Great, I never liked the leather cord either.

OK, having used my own collection of postcards as a coaching tool for some time, this postcard stack definitely sounds interesting.
It is often mentioned in combination with "Depicted Thoughts". Do I need "Depicted Thoughts" in order to make (full) use of these postcards? Or can they also be used standalone? |

You can use them without our Depicting Thoughts book as a matter of fact.
The book provides dozens of ideas, routines, applications and handling advice for our original Picture Cards. Many of those ideas and applications can be used for the Postcards too - however it is not a book about the postcards but about the original Picturecard stack. Hope this helps. |

Thanks. My budget for magical props is limited and my wishlist is long. ;-) I think I 'll go for the postcards stack and add the Depicting Toughts later.

Are the cards marked with stack position numbers on their backs?

No. This allows the cards to be examined and with nothing to find. It really looks an authentic test.

I was really interested in the postcards but realised the shipping to UK was £11 for £40 worth of postcards. That’s bonkers.

Does Card-Shark carry the Postcards.
